Daddy (reading Lightship book): this boats has lights on it.
Jonah: what are those called?
Daddy: they call them lanterns
Jonah: like in the pumpkin!
Mommy and Jonah are at the library for story hour.
The librarian is reading a book Jonah has never seen before about a horse giving rides to animals who fall off of the horse's back. Jonah calls out, "They are gonna want another ride!!!" The librarian says, "Someone has seen this book before!" (he hadn't!)
Today out of the blue, Jonah says, "Necklace like you wear around your neck sounds like Nicholas, like Nick and Maisy".
