"Do you know where all those old dinosaurs went mommy? To the museum so people could look at them!"
We were in Jonah's room and he started wiping the wall with a wipe. He asked ifnthat was ok and I said yes. He said, "Daddy prefers I don't do that but mommy prefers that I do.". I started laughing hysterically and he said,
"Calm down mommy and use your words!"
Sam brought home dinner tonight...
Me: You win The Daddy of Year Award!
Jonah: You win Daddy of the Urinal!
Me: No, no, Daddy of the YEAR Award
Jonah: No, Daddy of the Urinal!
"Ok honey, 5 more minutes and it's time to go." (no reaction). "Did you hear me?"
"Yup".
"What did I say?"
"You said 10 more minutes and it's time to go."
I'm being outsmarted by an almost 3-yr old.
